Methodology
- Every number links to the page we fetched and shows the date we checked it (Oct 27, 2026).
- We label sources primary (government agency) or secondary (a firm or analyst citing official records).
- When a figure isn't published in a source we checked, we show Not published. We never estimate or fill gaps.
- Texas "value reductions" are total value reductions from protests reported for the 2025 tax year, not a per-protest win rate.
- Texas primary-source protest outcomes (appraisal district annual reports, Comptroller ARB survey) are listed in data/tx_protest_outcomes.csv and on each county page. No district we checked publishes a per-protest win rate.
- Colorado rates count decided commercial petitions only.
- Past results describe groups of properties. They are not a prediction for yours.
